📋 Data Deletion Information

What Gets Deleted:

  • All your check-ins at locations
  • Your personal information and account data
  • Your information in leaderboards
  • Your achievements and rankings

What Remains (Anonymous Data):

  • All places you've added (without author information)
  • All places you've edited (without editor information)
  • All photos you've uploaded (without uploader information)

Your contributions remain useful to other users, but your personal information is completely removed.

⏱️ Retention Period

  • In-app deletion: Immediate
  • Online requests: Within 7 business days
  • Anonymous data: Permanently retained for community benefit

⚠️ Warning

Account deletion is irreversible. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete Data Only (Keep Account)

You can delete your data while keeping your Google account connected to Explore Lithuania:

  1. Open the Explore Lithuania app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Delete my data"
  4. Confirm the action

This will delete all your data but allow you to continue using the app with the same account.

Option 2: Complete Account Deletion

To completely delete your account from Explore Lithuania:

  1. Open the Explore Lithuania app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap "Delete account"
  4. Confirm the action by checking "Delete my Google account too"

This will delete all your data and remove your Google account from our system. To use the app again, you'll need to sign in again.

Option 3: Request Account Deletion Online

If you cannot delete your account via the app, you can submit a request online:

  1. Submit Account Deletion Request
  2. Your request will be immediately registered in our system
  3. Our administrators will review your request
  4. Your data will be deleted within 7 business days

This way, all your data cannot be restored.
